Anointing is power, and many people seek power, which can only be attained supernaturally. True power is spiritual power and this is what many people crave for.
Many want to be known, worshiped, reverenced, gain respect from others. But true spiritual power can only come from a sincere relationship with the anointed one Jesus Christ. Until one encounter Christ Jesus there will still be an empty spiritual void in the heart which can only be occupied by Him Christ Jesus.
This crave for power has led many people into the temptation of the attainment of power by all other means and practices. Cultism and Occultism are two major manifestations of this crave for power, which has led to many counterfeit manifestation of power which is not God's own but demonic manipulation and manifestations.
